Refund & Return Policy
iStore
All purchases from iStore.om are subject to this policy, prepared in accordance with Royal Decree No. 66/2014 issuing the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulations, as well as the laws governing e-commerce in the Sultanate of Oman.
- Customers have the right to return or exchange a product within 15 days from the date of receipt, provided that the product is unused, unopened, and in its original condition with all accessories and original packaging.
- A proof of purchase (invoice or electronic payment receipt) must accompany the return request.
- After inspection and confirmation that the product meets the return conditions, the refund will be processed using the original payment method within a maximum of 14 working days.
As per Article (21) of the Consumer Protection Regulation, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Products that have been used, opened, or lost their original condition.
- Products that are perishable or have a short shelf life (e.g., batteries, screen protectors, digital software, earphones for hygiene reasons).
- Products that are custom-ordered or manufactured specifically at the customer’s request.
- Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accidents.
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product is defective or does not match the agreed specifications.
- If the product is defective or incorrect, iStore will bear all return and shipping costs.
- Refunds will be made using the original payment method.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) purchases, refunds can be made in cash or via bank transfer, as per the customer’s preference.
- Refunds may take up to 14 working days from the date of receiving and inspecting the returned product.
- All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or an authorized distributor’s warranty, in accordance with Omani Consumer Protection Law.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
- iStore is not responsible for any data loss or damage resulting from product misuse.
- Customers must remove all personal data before returning electronic devices.
If the customer is dissatisfied with the return or exchange decision, they have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Authority in the Sultanate of Oman following the official procedures.
